My dear friend Kiara found me essie's Matte top coat!! I'm so excited! I used it over some stamping practice nails. I love how velvety smooth they feel with the matte finish. My manis seem to last less than a week these days with work but at least it's fun to paint new designs now.

Been playing with my stamper a bit. Trying to get the hang of it. One of the stamps looks like a strip of bacon. It's soy bacon on my nails :) not quite perfect yet but love the graffiti stamp look.

Just learning how to do it. I got the bundle monster set of plates from my fiance and have been trying to stamp anything and everything. Its a little tricky to work with but practice makes perfect :)

Wet n wild had a big displayer of new colours at the store for a reasonable $1.99 so I grabbed 'I need a refresh-mint' and instantly fell in love. The brush they use in this line of polishes is awesome. Thinking I need to go get a few more. Later today i'll be trying my new nail stamping stuff my man got me for.christmahannahkwanzaka. :)

Adorned with a glittery purple heart sticker on the thumb this mani totally reminds me of my hot pink trapper keeper from grade school. I used 2 coats sinful colors 'dream on' and sponged some opi 'DS sapphire' holo glitter on the tips. Topped with my new must have top coat Seche Vite. Love how fast I can get back to work thanks to Seche Vite.

Did my nails quick and sloppy on my way out to rescue a friend. I used a black base with a coat of China Glaze Ruby Pumps and Sally Hansen Glass Slipper over that. I topped it with Seche Vite top coat. Love how fast it dries all of the polish.

I borrowed Kiara's OPI holigraphic sparkles polish (will update with color name) to layer over pink and purple franken polishes I made. Topped it off with Tazmanian devil glitter by Confetti and Seche Vite top coat. Loving the sparkles!

I took some older metallic purple polishes that were about dried and dead and revived them into franken polish! First I added a little acetone to loosen up the dried polish that was left in the bottles. Then I added silvers and blues and purples from my polish collection to bring them back to life. I love the way they sparkle with the addition of metallic colours. I removed this one too quick.

Did a quick mani for x-mas. My poor hands are shredded but taking up part time work in greeting cards at busy season will do that to you. I used a bobby pin and a match stick as dotting tools and adhered a found heart rhinestone to my ring finger.

I bought a pumpkin to carve up. I'm getting into the halloween spirit. I love pumpkins with scars or funky shapes. Sadly this was the most scarred they had at the store but I'm sure I'll be buying this guy a friend. I love to roast the seeds with olive oil and sea salt. Best snack ever. Tis the season!

I used some leftover juice from a can of blueberries (I used cheater muffin mix... I know the horror!) to try to dye a piece of cotton eyelet fabric I had laying around. I am not really sure how well it will take I just kind of shoved the fabric into the juice and have been letting it sit. I love being able to just experiment at will.

I was recently given a giant box of miscellaneous stuff for crafting. Inside was this crazy set of leather working tools in various shapes and sizes. I have done some playing with polymer clay and think I may try to use some of these tools with the clay. I've been a vegetarian for 16 years and have no plans of handling leather anytime soon. Anyone have any other clever ideas on what I can use

I bought this lovely black lace number at the thrift shop for $1.99. I knew the bodice would fit but there was too much skirt and sleeve action going on for my taste. I took some scissors to it the other night and modified it a little to give it a cleaner look but I still feel like it's missing something... Maybe I need a shorter skirt? I guess I can't complain for $1.99 :D
